BroadVision introduces its next-generation content management solution, One-To-One Content 6.0, to ship next quarter
6 November 2001
BroadVision is upgrading its kit to better integrate is content management offering, based on the Interleaf product acquisition last year with the rest of its offering.
Among the new features the addition of Content Catalyst Web, a user interface that uses J2EE technologies such as JavaServer Pages, and that can automatically generate valid XML from browser-based forms, enabling the reuse of content across multiple channels, says the company.
Content 6.0 makes claims to stronger personalization than other leading products, and is generally trying to step up its offering to compete with known market leaders.
However times are hard for companies targeting the top end of the content technology market, as many competitively priced products are available, and 'leading' vendors are likely to have to change their strategies.
