Tridion, provider of Web Content Management (WCM) software solutions, is expanding its US headquarters to new offices to accommodate the significant momentum and resulting growth achieved in 2006. The company says it was the fastest growing enterprise class WCM vendor in the US market in 2006 with a growth rate of 300% largely attributed to key customer wins.
Tridion’s official entrance into the US Web Content Management market was sparked by the explosion of the industry of the last several years and a real need in the market for a solution that could help large enterprises with their web globalization initiatives. With an expected eighty percent of an organization’s data doubling in volume every two years, Tridion expects to see further demand for their solution as these large, global companies grapple with content overload and look to replace their outdated content management systems.
US employee headcount increased in 2006 to support a full service marketing, sales, professional services and customer support organization. The company expects this to grow considerably in 2007, leading to the expansion into the new office space in New York City as well as plans to open a West Coast office in San Francisco in Q2 of 2007.
