Inxight Software, the leading provider of software applications for understanding and effectively using unstructured data on the Internet and enterprise networks, is pursuing further expansion of its global business through an agreement with Aidos Software Ag, a knowledge management solution provider in Germany.
Aidos has licensed Categorizer, Thing Finder, Summarizer and Star Tree technologies to enhance the organization and delivery of information in its KAI-Box knowledge management solution.
KAI-Box is a suite of enterprise-class solutions for storing, analyzing, classifying and distributing targeted information to users. By incorporating Inxight's technologies, the German company will offer its enterprise customers the best tools for managing unstructured data.
Unstructured data makes up more than 85% of all corporate information. It includes such diverse elements as word processing documents and text files, Web pages, e-mail and news feeds.
Aidos joins existing German Inxight customers and partners including SAP, a leading provider of e-business software solutions; empolis, a software solutions provider member of the Bertelsmann Mohn Media Group; Deutsche Telekom, Europe's largest telecommunications company; picturesafe, a leading developer of large-scale database solutions; Siemens and Xerox GmbH.
