ClearForest, announced the availability of ClearForest Release 5.
The latest version of the content extraction and analysis suite extends the functionality of the company's unstructured data management applications with powerful new relationship analysis tools, industry-specific solution modules and enhanced database scalability.
"ClearForest Release 5 represents our continued commitment to providing the best possible business intelligence solutions," said Barak Pridor, president and CEO at ClearForest. "This release delivers on some of the major requirements and needs that we have been seeing from our customers and prospects. These include enterprise level scalability, multiple language support, industry-specific tagging capabilities and more. These all translate into better helping our customers connect the dots."
New Link Analysis and Fact Viewer
Link Analysis enables users to find important, previously unknown implicit information within an organization's unstructured data sources. The Link Analysis query automatically organizes links (associations) between entities (individuals, organizations) that are not present in individual documents. The
results of a link analysis query give new insight into an organization's data by interpreting the relevant interconnections between disparate bits of information. For example, Intelligence analysts can explore associations among terrorists and identify key members and weak links for law enforcement
resources to target.
Another new feature of this release is the Fact Viewer that allows for the search and retrieval of events and relationships without the constraint of explicit keywords. A financial analyst could ask for a list of "all biotech companies that merged or were acquired in the past 6 months," even though the
words "merged," "acquired" or "acquisition" might not appear in the source text. This type of query would be impossible to achieve with traditional search technology.
Plug and Play Discovery Modules for Various Verticals
ClearForest is also delivering four new Discovery Modules providing cost-saving, out-of-the-box text patterns and relationships for Life Sciences,
Counter-Intelligence, Intellectual Property and Financial Services applications. These Discovery Modules are designed to provide faster return on
investment (ROI) with rapid implementations using packaged applications, modular deployments, and plug-in integrations.
