Web hosting company, CFDynamics, has unvelied its new Content Manager, as well as ColdFusion web hosting, free of charge for ColdFusion user group web sites.
Jason Egan, Vice President of Customer Relations for CFDynamics explained, 'We strongly support ColdFusion user groups and have shown this in the past by offering free web hosting. We are now excited to more fully support user group sites by offering Savvy's Content Manager. We hope that user groups will find added benefits from this partnership.'
According to the company, the Savvy Content Manager is a powerful, yet easy to install web CMS that normally retails for $1,350. Joshua Cyr, Chief Technology Officer for Savvy Software, Inc. added, 'Providing our software for ColdFusion user groups is a great way for us to support the already vibrant CF community. We are especially appreciative that CFDynamics is offering hosting free of charge as well.'
Recently, CF Dynamics hosted the 2006 CFUNITED conference, with over 1,000 attendees and 40 industry-related speakers, in Washington, DC. CFUNITED, started by TeraTech in 1999, is a conference that unites the ColdFusion and web development communities. The conference was the only one of its kind run by developers, for developers, and featured well-known ColdFusion experts such as Ben Forta, Sandra Clark, Simon Horwith, Nate Nelson and Jeff Peters.
