Tecnick.com, provider of Web Software, says that as of today all its products are now freely available under an Open Source License.
After 5 years of commercial distribution, Tecnick.com has made all its products Open Source Software by adopting the licensing policy of the Free Software Foundation [http://www.fsf.org]. The new business model is simple, the software is essentially free, customers pay only for enhancements, services and support.
Tecnick.com is now a pure Open Source Company, currently listing 22 Open Source Software solutions (two main PHP Web applications, four PHP tools/libraries, seven Java Web Applets and nine Java tools/libraries). More applications and libraries based on C/C++ and other prominent technologies will be introduced before the end of 2006.
Tecnick.com software typically focus on Web Accessibility and performance, running on inexpensive industry-standard boxes, further lowering overall costs.
