A new content management product called 'Site Executive' developed by Systems Alliance in Maryland, features remarkable extensibility and workflow/document approval features, say its developers.
It was created in ColdFusion, and is platform independent.
The core of Site Executive is its object model along with XML-based content storage and a modular architecture.
High-performance front-end site viewing and usage is complemented with reliable back-end content manipulation.
Custom modules, including legacy application wrappers, can be added to provide extensions into e-commerce and vertical spaces.
The vertical markets being targeted include hospitals/medical services, education (universities), not for profit entities and large corporate enterprises.
A technical white paper describes the architecture
Can this be true, or am I dreaming? Or both?
