Kinecta. a content syndication and aggregation infrastructure provider, announced the general availability of Kinecta Syndicator Lite, the industry's first free content distribution application to distribute to more than one channel.
Released in its first version last December, the software, which can be downloaded from the company's website, automates the distribution of content in a wide range of file formats, including XML, HTML, text, PDF, graphics, audio, video and streaming media
Kinecta Syndicator Lite enables web managers establish up to five open, dedicated channels for automating content distribution, eliminating the reliance on manually intensive and error prone distribution methods such as e-mail or FTP (file transfer protocol).
It is also designed to avoid unscalable and inflexible click-back methods such as linking and framing.
"We are committed to provide solutions that meet or exceed our customers' requirements for ongoing content distribution," said David Mathison, Kinecta CEO in a press release. "Syndicator Lite enables businesses to quickly get started building a distribution network and will prepare them for ongoing information exchange and collaboration throughout their value chain."

Kinecta was recently named by ComputerWorld magazine as one of its Top 100 Emerging Companies to Watch in 2001.
