Optical equipment manufacturer Pentax has appointed content management specialist Tridion to develop an online self-service facility for customers of its Vision (spectacle lens) division.
The Web site is available in five languages, to provide regional and localised content for its customers across Europe.
The site enables the company to manage its online content internally, without having to rely on technically trained members of staff or an external agency.
It is anticipated that the service will also be rolled out to opticians and other distributors of Pentax products in the future
Tridion also announced a partnership with multilingual services partner SDL international to provide internationalisation capabilities to their software.
