NewspaperDirect, a technology company specializing in the digital delivery of travel editions of newspapers from around the world, has signed agreements with three daily newspapers: The Chicago Tribune (Chicago, U.S.), Libération (Paris, France) and Het Nieuwsblad (Antwerp, Belgium). Readers across the globe will now have access to
same-day, print versions of these newspapers, in addition to NewspaperDirect’s catalog of more than 160 newspaper titles.
The titles are digitally delivered outside of their original markets and laser-printed in an 11"x17" (A3) format. The offerings are exact reproductions of the locally printed editions, delivered in a more portable format, says the company.
The service is currently available through NewspaperDirect’s network of international
partners and licensees, including major hotel chains, cruise lines and retail outlets.
“The diverse international scope of these new additions to the NewspaperDirect roster underscores our commitment to serve a wide range of global readers,” said NewspaperDirect’s CEO and President Miljenko Horvat.
